2 New Scottish Champions

 
Ch Glenauld Tommy Girl and Ch Star Attraction at Glenauld JW
At the Merseyside Boxer Club Championship Show on Sunday 18th April Glenauld Boxers made some boxer history by winning both the Dog & Bitch CC which made up two champions for a Scottish Kennel on the same day under two different judges Ann Wildman (Wildax) and Marion Cowan (Alcomar) namely Ch Star Attraction at Glenauld JW and
Ch Glenauld Tommy Girl JW.
It is almost 60 years ago in (1952) since Dibbie Sommerfield made up two champions namely Ch Panfield Awldogg Attar and Ch Panfield Party Piece of Greentubs on the same day but under only one judge.
Ch Glenauld Tommy Girl JW is also the first tailed bitch champion and Ch Star Attraction at Glenauld JW (bred by Claire Cooper-Wyatt)  is the second tailed male champion. Both are the first Scottish Tailed Champions.

Almost 60 teams comprising of 4 dogs per team, bred by the one exhibitor took part, qualifying on a points system at Championship Shows throughout 2009. All teams were in the main ring at once which was a fabulous spectacle as well as a credit to the manners and temperament of the dogs present. Pre judged during the afternoon Mr Horswell quickly pulled in his top eight teams for further assessment and after moving them again placed the first four.

The Scottish Kennel Club - Show Dog Of The Year

Two Boxers have qualified for this event this year. They are Yvonne Millers Ch Walkon Made'n Issue and his daughter Ch Roamaro First Issue By Walkon. Both qualified last year finishing in 5th & 6th spot.
